Community Service Series -        Carpinteria Children's Project

Show your volunteer spirit and meet other like-minded alumni as we help with some needed clean-up of the pre-school playground at Canalino Elementary School on Saturday, September 25, 9:00-11:00 a.m.

The Harvard Club of Santa Barbara (HCSB) continues its "Community Service Series", in which we organize volunteer opportunities for Harvard alumni. Our next event is a "Fall Clean Up" at the pre-school playground at Canalino Elementary, on Saturday, September 25, 9:00-11:00 a.m.  The pre-school is sponsored by the Carpinteria Children’s Project, a non-profit that assists low-income families with education and health needs.

During the clean up, volunteers will assist the staff of the Children’s Project by improving this school playground that is so important to many young children.  Families are welcome to bring children who are old enough to help.  In keeping with Covid safety, masks will be required and there will be a limit of 20 volunteers for this event.
 

Canalino Elementary School is located at 1480 Linden Ave in Carpinteria.

Parking is available in the school parking lot.
