Wine Tasting at Villa Wine Bar and Kitchen
Join us as we sample wines and appetizers at Villa Wine Bar and Kitchen, in an event organized jointly with the Harvard Club of Southern California
The Harvard Club of Santa Barbara (HCSB) has reserved a closed-door wine tasting at Villa Wine Bar and Kitchen (618 Anacapa St, Santa Barbara) on Saturday, April 30, 4:00-6:00 p.m. This event is open to all Harvard alumni and their guests, price $50/attendee paid directly to the Villa Wine Bar at the event.
The tasting is designed in terms of moving up the coast and trying a different wine from a different county: Santa Barbara, San Luis Obispo, Monterey, Sonoma Coast, Russian River and Napa. 2 whites, 4 reds.
There will be a special panini platter, as well as a Bruschetta platter and a cheese board. The panini consist of the following:
• Caprese-Buffalo mozzarella, tomato, basil, arugula
• Sienna-Fontina smoked pancetta, avocado, pesto
• Toscano-Sopresato salami, sun-dried tomato, anchego
Approximately 10 alumni from the Harvard Club of Southern California (Los Angeles) plan to attend. This event is designed in part to provide an opportunity to meet Harvard alumni to our south, in particular Madeleine Mejia, EdM 2000, the new Harvard Alumni Association Director for the Pacific Southwest. In that capacity she is responsible for providing coordination with and support to the Harvard Clubs in Hawaii, Maui, San Diego, Santa Barbara and Southern California (Los Angeles).
The owners of the Villa Wine Bar and Kitchen report that they can easily manage up to 30 attendees. Please RSVP so that we can let Villa know how many will be attending.
