Pre-Holiday Club Luncheon
Join other members and guests and get into the Holiday spirit at Playa Azul Restaurant, 914 Santa Barbara St., on Thursday Dec. 12 at 12:30. This is an informal lunch with no planned program, but there'll be stimulating company and some excellent food from a widely varied Mexican menu (See www.laPlayaazulcafe.com; prices have increased by $1.).
We'll be able to order from the regular menu and pay at the restaurant, so advance payment is not necessary; however, for planning purposes we'll need to make RSVP's by Friday, Dec. 6. (This can be done using the RSVP tab or by calling Ed Bookin at 683-9429.) Diners are strongly encouraged to bring appropriate cash denominations to expedite payment of the bill (which will include a 26% surcharge for tip and tax); no checks are accepted. Space is limited to 25, so please make your plans early and reserve a place!
