Meeting recap:

20 members and friends of the HCSB cleaned up the Canalino Pre-School in Carpinteria, which provides low cost pre-school to local families.  We had great family turn out, and it was terrific to have kids help in the effort.  Volunteers came from Goleta all the way to Camarillo.  We got 2 play yards and the classroom ready for the first day of school.  We trimmed plants, weeded, swept leaves, and washed toys, tables and the playground equipment.  Teresa Alvarez of the Carpinteria Children's Project, which oversees the pre-school, told us about the work of their organization and was very grateful for all our help.
