Harvard  Speakers Bureau:

Professor Kayyem will speak to the Western Harvard Clubs on the topic Learning to Live in an Age of Disasters on Wednesday, May 11th, at 3pm PDT

juliette_kayyemKennedy School lecturer Juliette Kayyam '91, JD' 95 examines how we take wrong lessons from history in her new book "The Devil Never Sleeps: Learning to Live in an Age of Disasters".

This lecture presented via zoom will explore the irony of how although our response systems for disasters are quite sophisticated, the disasters can still be lethal and challenging.  The causes of deaths matter.  Click here for Harvard Gazette article by Professor Kayam.
